Downtown Sidewalks PDF Print E-mail
Downtown will soon be sporting an all new look.  City officials have announced the new design for the sidewalks around the Courthouse Square.  In addition to the new design, the lighting will be changed to bring the square into the look of Big Spring Park.  Additional parking will be added.  All venues around the square are excited with the new look, additional parking, lighting for extra security and the ability to have events after dark.  According to Mayor Spencer, construction will begin October 1, 2008, with completion June 2009.
